Daniela Andreevska About Me

Hi there!

I am Daniela, the voice and heart behind Parenting with Daniela.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I share the beautiful chaos, heartwarming moments, and practical wisdom that come with raising children.

A Little Bit About Me

First and foremost, I’m the proud mother of two wonderfully curious boys – Adam (12) and Jude (7) – who have been my greatest teachers on this 12+ year parenting adventure. Like many of you, I’ve navigated the unpredictable waters of parenthood, from midnight feedings, through toddler tantrums and school project battles, to (semisuccessful) preteen negotiations.

What I’ve learned from this experience is that parenting children of different ages requires diverse approaches, endless patience, a whole lot of love, and a village (I’ll come back to this in a bit). Each stage brings new challenges but also new joys to discover together.

In the meantime, I’ve spent countless hours digging through the deepest secrets of the internet, looking for the countless questions that come along with parenthood. Seriously, I’ve done more research in raising my kids than in my career. Another part of the answers to my never-ceasing questions came from my husband (who happens to be a doctor) and my family.

My Background

For the past 9+ years, I’ve worked in digital marketing, honing my skills in communication (which has proven of indispensable help in negotiating with my children) and content creation. Recently, I’ve channeled my passion for storytelling and using the power of simple words to deliver big messages into writing children’s books that celebrate friendship, collaboration, and diversity through engaging, fun-filled, never-ending adventures.

My inspiration to become a children’s books author came mostly from the hundreds of books I’ve read to my (not-so-little-anymore) bookworms, who now devour books even faster than cheese sandwiches and sliced apples! Seeing them fall in love with reading after thousands of hours of bedtime stories has been one of my greatest joys as a parent.

Our Multicultural Home

Our family brings together two worlds – I come from a small Eastern European country, while my husband’s roots are in the Middle East. Bridging our cultural differences with openness of the heart and respect for the other has enriched our parenting journey immeasurably. We’ve learned that different parenting styles and traditions can complement each other beautifully, when approached with love and understanding.

This multicultural perspective has helped us raise children who appreciate diversity and see differences as strengths, a value I hope to share through both my children’s stories and parenting advice.

Why I Created This Website

“It takes a village to raise a child.” But in today’s globalized world, that village can sometimes feel out of reach for many of us. I’ve discovered that parenthood – despite being surrounded by little ones – can feel surprisingly lonely.

That’s why I created Parenting with Daniela – to offer a virtual village where parents can find:

  • Practical parenting tips for moms and dads of children of all ages
  • Evidence-based parenting advice that works in real life
  • Support for navigating different parenting styles
  • Recommendations for age-appropriate children’s books
  • Stories that remind you that you’re not alone on this journey

I believe that by sharing our experiences honestly and openly – both the triumphs and the challenges – we can create a community where parents can feel understood, supported, and empowered.
